: HTC
company is a Taiwanese multinational
manufacturer of smartphones and tablets headquartered in New Taipei City,
Taiwan. HTC’s Full name is High Tech Computer Corporation. It is
founded in 1997, and began as an original design manufacturer and original equipment manufacturer, designing and manufacturing devices such as mobile
phones, touchscreen phones, and PDAs
based on Windows Mobile OS. HTC expanded its focus in 2009 to devices based on Android, and in 2010 to Windows
Phone. HTC is also the pioneer
in manufacturing the smartphones with Google Android operating system. Day by
day we can see that HTC is improving and getting better than before but when we
see the image of HTC and compare it by Apple and Samsung, we notice that there
is a huge distance between them and put in mind that HTC is the third
competitive company after Apple and Samsung in mobile industry. So the quality
of each company is nearly equal but what makes them different are the market
strategies that they use to improve their 
brand image and encourage customers to by from them.this
had therefore led me to the following research question ” what marketing strategies can HTC use to increase its
sales?

from the age of 17 to 21. I had picked 10 random people from each age so a
total of 50 people in order to see why do people prefer using Apple and Samsung
mobiles over HTC, and know what they think needs to be added in the HTC phones.      secondary

business textbook helped me to collect accurate information about my topic, and
the class notes were helpful as well.   Main
results and finding  I
have given out 50 questionnaires to 50 different people from both genders and
different age, mainly asking them what differences they see in HTC compared to
Samsung and Apple, wether they like the way HTC advertise there products or not
and if they were given a chance to use HTC will they use it or not. I have
found out that the majority of the people 
wouldn’t  risk the chance to
change their phone to HTC saying that its not 
even near comparing it by samsung and apple and some of them think that
HTC is below what they want as a mobile and it doesn’t fulfill there needs.
Moreover, they think  HTC has no creative
edges in there production that would attract more customers. Some people think
that this gap between HTC and the other smartphone companies like Apple and
Samsung is created because of the marketing strategies used by them. Therefore
HTC should improve there marketing strategies. This quote is from some people’s point of view “HTC smartphones
are very unique and it has its own shape that no company could copy, but
because it lacks good marketing strategies people prefer to purchase and use
samsung and apple and I feel that its a risk to try out a new company that is
not as popular”. And there are others who said that the marketing
strategies do not really affect the sales of HTC to a high extent.                             Swot

a threat because their prices are high and not affordable for smart phones

phones are affordable and way cheaper, with same features any smartphone
might have. and people usually prefer them on HTC.

chance of making more people to know about your product. for example they could
promote there product in newspaper, cinema theaters, and the advertisement main
goal should be to persuade the customer and not to remind them about the
product so the advertisement should be perfect in explaining the advantages of
the phone.      Online

will benefit from online promotion because it will help in making communication
with the customer much easier, and it will be easier by making accounts on
social media like Instagram and twitter to show customers or to keep them
inform by what is coming new and if there is any problem customers could easily

all this analysis in conclusion i could say that if HTC improved in this three
tools, HTC will increase its customer base and it will lead in cell phones
industries,they mainly should focus on developing themselves in promotion
because now days many people goes to a product the is well known and wont try a
new product and they should come with a new idea that make customers shift to
HTC a new idea that HTC phones only have and the really should care on the
price in this time because people are not willing to buy the product so pricing
is a big issue that they should take into consideration, this is not there only
issues so if they depend only in this commentary they wont achieve there goal
which is a continuous rise in customer base so they need to develop there
